Hello dear friends, do you feel you could use some encouragement in your life and career?
Often we feel stuck, and we would like to do more of what we love, while keeping a healthy balance. But should we feel stuck? That's what I want to find out? So I created Behind The Story, a new podcast, launched in December 2017.
Listen to Episode 1 – Introduction to the Behind The Story podcast, and read the shownotes on the web page as well, for some more background. You can also watch this clip, my interview with Gama Putra in 'Brussels Has Stories', for our I LOVE Brussels city platform. I explain why I started this.
I have a sweet spot for understanding what makes people tick, especially when they are on their way to finding greater purpose and meaning in life and career. People who achieve pique performance while making their dreams come true. I am compelled to share the stories of these go-getters.
I ask them how they do it. And that's so fulfilling. Stories are food for our soul! Boy oh boy, I already learned so much from the first guests on my show. How they've decided on their own path, made mistakes, pushed through, thrive and why they help others achieve their own goals.
My podcast, Behind The Story, would like to inspire to take our careers into our own hands! If this is your desire too, then I invite you to join me on this journey.

As said, I have set myself on a quest to get into the why’s and the how’s of successful entrepreneurs. And that doesn’t mean successful in money (only). Who decides on that, anyway? What does success mean to you? And be honest! Is that success defined by you or by your environment?
I believe the basis for success is what inspires us to unite, grow and share! And with my podcast, blogposts and Facebook community, I would like to offer you a multiple platform vehicle that inspires through the stories of others and encourages to take action on the next step in your career and life — while making it all feel like living your life’s dream 🙂
What we do in life -either work or private- should feel natural and pleasurable, without it being forced. A little is OK :-). And for so many of us, myself included, that is a struggle.
Couldn’t be more exited for this journey. I look forward to meeting all of you storytellers!
I welcome your comments and opinions. I'm here to serve.
